GMAS unavailable starting at 9PM EST on Friday, March 8th

GMAS will be unavailable starting at 9PM EST on Friday, March 8th for a release. The system will be available again at the start of business on Monday, March 11th.

This release includes:

Converting the request signatures module to the new GMAS format, which includes:

  • A new converted and combined request signatures screen
  • A converted internal organization home page
  • A new process for setting required signatures

GMAS unavailable starting at 6:00pm on May 4th, 2022 until the start of business on May 5th, 2022 for the May 2022 release.

GMAS will be unavailable beginning at 6PM on Wednesday May 4th. This outage is to support the upcoming May 2022 release scheduled to be available by the start of business on Thursday May 5th. The focus of this release includes enhancements to support displaying preferred names in GMAS. Additional enhancements include updates to the GMAS person feed and tracking if proposals included subrecipients, as well as bug fixes.

GMAS will be unavailable beginning at 6PM on Friday March 19th. This outage is to support the upcoming March 2022 release scheduled to be available by the start of business on Monday March 21st. The focus of this release includes enhancements to support the process of tracking whether a project has participant support costs and implementing the research team panels to continuation and supplement requests. GMAS unavailable starting at 7:00pm on January 13th, 2022 until the start of business on January 14th, 2022 for the January 2022 release

GMAS will be unavailable beginning at 7PM on Thursday, January 13th for a release. The system will be available again by the start of business on Friday, January 14th. The primary focus of this release is in support of NIH’s implementation of the updated Other Support and Biosketch format pages.

GMAS Unavailable October 29th, 2021 (starting at 6:00 pm) until the start of business on November 1st, 2021 for November 2021 Release.

GMAS will be unavailable beginning at 6PM on Friday October 29th. This outage is to support the upcoming November 2021 GMAS release scheduled to be available by the start of business on Monday November 1st. This release includes a few enhancements, bug fixes, and the creation of new request types.

GMAS will be unavailable on Thursday, March 26th starting at 7PM for a release which includes enhancements, minor bug fixes, and some technical changes.

Some of the enhancements include:

  • Displaying preferred name (if available) on the GMAS welcome screen
  • Removal of the link for the legacy Foreign/Overseas approval (replaced by the new international collaboration and activities approval)
  • Removal of the ability to enter final figures when there is an open segment revision

GMAS will be unavailable tonight, Thursday July 30, 2020 from 7:00 PM until start of business on Friday, July 31, 2020 for Release 1_54.2

GMAS has a scheduled release tonight, and will be unavailable starting at 7:00 pm until the start of business on Friday, July 31.  This release includes enhancements to the international collaboration and activities and cost sharing approvals, as well as a few bug fixes.
