Executive Summmary

The December 2018 GMAS release will be available on December 14, 2018. This release features a new dashboard for requests and retirement of all Grants.gov related features.

New dashboard for requests

  • Improved version of the existing "Requests in process" dashboard. More detail about this dashboard can be found here.
  • Requests are grouped by status, can also set a high level filter for "My portfolio", "HMS", "SPH", and "University area".
  • Signatures for request can be viewed by expanding an individual row.
  • New "Central reviewer" field allows more flexibility for proposal review assignment and tracking.
    • Central reviewers are either defaulted based on configurable business rules, or can be set directly from the dashboard.
  • <Download> button exports all requests to Excel.
  • The old "Requests in process" dashboard is still available from the GMAS home page, will be removed in a future release.

Grants.gov System to System (S2S) retirement

Grants.gov submissions have not been supported since January 2018. In this release we are removing all related code.

  • "S2S submissions" and "Search S2S opportunities" have been removed from the GMAS home.
  • S2S opportunity lookup has been removed from the proposal creation process.
  • Removed all Grants.gov specific links from the proposal home page:

    • Grants.gov questions
    • Grants.gov attachments
    • Planned/cumulative enrollment
  • Pdf files of all grants.gov submissions have been generated for historical purposes. These can be downloaded from the proposal homepage (with the submission information) or found in the document repository
