GMAS May 2021 Release

The GMAS May 2021 release will be available as of the start of business on Monday, May 10th 2021. This release includes a few enhancements, some minor bug fixes, and some technical changes.

Enhancements:

OAIR:

  • Non-HUID OAIR approvals will no longer display when the OAIR was last queried
  • A new row has been added to the OAIR approval screen that will display who the responsible party is on the OAIR side.
  • OAIR approvals will no longer generate on existing projects where the investigator question is either null or no.
  • Fixed an OAIR issue related to some approvals getting stuck in “Pending” status
  • “Update OAIR” button will now ignore non-HUID and inactive HUID approvals.

Other:

  • A new GMAS job has been created where pending proposals that have been submitted for more than 18 months will be closed.
  • Accessibility update to “edit” buttons when navigating via tab on the keyboard.
  • FCOI section was removed from person profile.

Bug fixes:

  • Retired approvals will no longer display on initial request home in the “Needed approvals” section of the approvals panel.
  • A fix was made to approvals with dropdown edit options.
  • Continuation requests will no longer generate two created events in event history.
  • Resolving PI security issues on the international collaboration & activities edit page.
  • Fixed issue that was causing the segment research team to display a person twice.

Technical changes:

  • Weblogic 14c upgrade for GMAS servers
  • JDK11 upgrade for GMAS servers & modularization change for interfaces
  • Upgrading the ecrt interface to JDK11
