Crosswalk: The New GMAS Homepage

Starting December 19, 2016, the GMAS homepage will be upgraded to match the new GMAS look and feel. Along with conversion, there are some minor changes to the homepage. Those changes are highlighted in this crosswalk document.

Search

Search now exists in the global header (at the top of the screen) and can be used on any of the newly converted, non-edit screens. Entering a fund number and hitting “Enter” or return on your keyboard will take you directly to the segment homepage for that fund.  Entering any search criteria, and then selecting from the search dropdown will search by the criteria selected. Advanced search can still be performed by selecting the “Advanced” text to the right of the search dropdown.

To-do’s, documents, portfolio, logout, profile

To-do’s, documents, portfolio, logout, and person profile have all been moved to a menu under the user's name and can be used on any of the newly converted, non-edit screens.

Reporting

Reporting, which previously linked to CREW, has been removed and replaced with a “Links” menu. The new links menu provides a list of internal sponsored systems and resources. Links can be used on any of the newly converted, non-edit screens.

Recently viewed projects

The new GMAS homepage allows up to 100 results for recently viewed and now includes fund, tub, and org.

Receipts and Receivables

Receipts and Receivables have been moved from the top navigation on the GMAS homepage to the options on the right, and will now only show for individuals who have security to view and edit them.
