Document Repository Enhancements Released on September 8, 2016

On September 8, 2016 GMAS released a few enhancements to the all documents screen and the document repository screens.

All Documents

Added the ability to hide items which do not contain documents:

“Hide” defaults when first coming to the screen, but can be changed by selecting “Show”. In this example, because “Hide” is selected, even though there are three notices on this project, only the two that have documents associated to them show .

Added document count to each section:

The number of documents that are associated to each item are now included in the section header. Here, there are a total of 13 documents uploaded into the two requests on this project.

Document Repositories

New functionality to allow for drag and drop of documents into GMAS:

GMAS now has the ability to drag documents from a desktop into GMAS. Documents can be dragged in one by one, in bulk by using the CTRL key on the keyboard while making selections, or in bulk by dragging in an entire folder (note that the folder itself will not be created in GMAS, but all of the documents in the folder will be added to the repository).

Added ability to create subfolders:

A new action for adding a subfolder is available when selecting the gear icon from a folder. All subfolders created from the gear icon of the first tier folder will be viewable when the first tier folder is open.

Added sort to the document column headers:

Documents within repositories can now be sorted by Name, Size, Uploaded by, or Uploaded date. The default sort order is Uploaded date.
