FSS is a department in Financial Administration that supports users of Central Financial Administrative Applications. Services are prepared and delivered during FSS hours of operation:
Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm
(excluding University holidays)
FSS Service Catalog
The FSS Service Catalog (PIN required) provides an overview of the support services provided by FSS.
Users are granted access to the features they need in Central Financial Administrative Applications when they begin their job at Harvard or when their duties change. Schools/units grant this access through processes they have established with their Authorized Requestor. After receiving system access, most employees need only the Training and General Reporting services in this catalog.
Many of the services listed in this catalog support the underlying structure or features in Harvard's Central Financial Administrative Applications. These services require approval from particular individuals or business units within the University. They are available only to individuals who are a business owner, a super user, a power user or an Authorized Requestor.
Individuals who need a service but are not eligible to request the service should contact those who are eligible to further discuss their need. Eligible individuals are listed in the Available To section of a service.
GMAS Access
For GMAS access, individuals must request access from their school/unit Authorized Requestor (AR).
- ARs will submit the request for access to FSS.
- To find your GMAS Authorized Requester, visit the Authorized Requestor List page of the FSS Service Catalog (PIN required).
- If you are an Authorized Requestor, please go to the GMAS Authorized Requestors page to obtain the appropriate forms.
